People love to make New Year's resolutions. What about you? What have you promised yourself that you will do? There is nothing wrong with making a New Year's resolution, you just have to be practical. In other words, don't make resolutions that are impossible to meet. Just like setting goals, you have to be SMART! Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed. Don't say I will lose 20 lbs, in a month, because that is not practical. Do say, I will lose 1 lbs. a week and exercise at least once a week. Once you meet those goals then you can increase them. Many times we make resolutions and set goals that we can't meet and then we become discouraged. So this year, makes good resolutions that you can be successful completing and be encouraged rather than discouraged.
