Discipline is doing what needs to be done, even if you don't want to do it. Doing what needs to be done, when you don't want to do it can be a tall order. Depression strips you of all your motivation and makes simple things hard. But when you are disciplined it can help you overcome your depression with the drive to get it done! How disciplined are you?
Showing a controlled form of behavior or way of working, is what discipline is. Discipline will make you get up when you emotions tell you to lay down. Discipline will tell you to move when your emotions tell you to be still. If you can get up and get moving you can take control of what has you down. Have you ever wanted to isolate and other wouldn't let you, or your friend calls and makes you get out of the house? You then end up feeling better, enjoying yourself all because you got up.
So today, let's focus on getting up, we have been down to long, lets rise together.
